About the Author
Commercial Director of Miranda Technologies, a global company specialising in television and channel-branding equipment. Worked previously as a senior designer in several of Britain’s top broadcast companies. Previously Richard worked for Pro Bel where he designed the Freeway product series. For this he was cited in Post Update magazine as “one of the twelve disciples of TV design”. Richard was also responsible for the stereo enhancement system `Francinstien’ and the ‘OM’ three-dimensional stereo system. Electronic junkies will absolutely love this one!

My dad is trying to wrap his thick skull around the nuances of music theory. He can't understand it the normal way most people do (i.e. notes, scales, chord progressions) but knows it through electronic charts and data and jargon. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who doesn't know electronics or basic physics already, but all the rest it's sure to be an eye opener and is extremely technical. I recommend it for anyone who loves electronics, the way sound operates scientifically and physics buffs. Really informative!
