Van Dyke's Conservation Biology

The chapters on values and ethics in conservation is tastefully and powerfully written, addressing an aspect of conservation too often sidestepped. Conservation of habitats and landscapes and conservation of aquatic ecosystems are particularly interesting and useful material.
